2. What data we collect

Account data

• Name and email address when you register
• Profile photo (if you sign in with Google)

Usage data

• Pages visited and features used (for product improvement)
• IP address and browser/device type (for security and analytics)

Content data

• Documents, files, and other content you create inside ifelse workspaces

3. How we use your data

• To provide and operate the ifelse service
• To send transactional emails (email verification, password reset)
• To improve the product based on usage patterns
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data sharing

We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate ifelse:

• Railway — cloud infrastructure (EU region)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Cloudflare — CDN, DDoS protection, bot detection (Turnstile)
• Google — authentication (if you use "Sign in with Google")

All providers are bound by data processing agreements and handle data in accordance with GDPR.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to processing

7. Cookies

We use only functional cookies necessary to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Security

We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.

ifelse is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes.
